Blessed be the day. All the quotes in this little, big book are original—with the exception of “The Borrower.” I borrowed hot lines and with some wizardry and I turned them into my quotes. I want to eat my flowers today. I put all my bloody tears into this book and I did it all by myself. I can physically pick up my book and say I did it by myself. There is a sense of accomplishment in that. I come from a long line of non-readers, so creating this work was a minor miracle. It took me almost dying for this book to get here. Investing in your book entails investing in yourself. How much are you willing to invest in yourself? I invested too much because I felt like writing is all I had to offer the world. I can’t let the dream. I’ve created and now I just need to get it to the world. Any support is good support.
